The Story
Growing up in a small town in southern Colorado, supporting local businesses wasn’t just a trend—it was a way of life. My parents were both artists and entrepreneurs, and I saw firsthand how much heart and hard work goes into building something of your own. Our little community relied on each other, and local markets, fairs, and events weren’t just about shopping; they were about connection. They were places where neighbors became customers, customers became friends, small businesses turned into legacies, and everyone knew the story behind what they were buying.
That sense of community and entrepreneurship is what inspired me to start Main Street Events. I wanted to create markets that bring people together in the same way—where local vendors can showcase their passion, shoppers can discover something unique, and the entire experience feels more like a celebration than just another day of shopping.
At our events, it’s not just about what you buy, but the experience of finding it. We host markets in unique venues, where we showcase incredible talent, serve craft drinks, and deliver a fun and welcoming atmosphere—because supporting small businesses should be exciting. Our goal is to make sure every vendor has the opportunity to grow and every guest leaves with something special, whether it’s a handcrafted piece, a great memory, or a new favorite brand to follow.

Ben Hanson
Raised in the San Luis Valley, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for small businesses and the communities that support them. After participating as a vendor in over 200 events and markets, I saw firsthand the power of well-crafted events in bringing people together and helping small businesses thrive. That experience inspired me to start Main Street Events—a platform dedicated to creating vibrant, high-quality markets that showcase local talent, foster community, and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit.
With a deep commitment to Denver and the people who make it so special, my goal is to curate unforgettable experiences where vendors succeed, shoppers connect, and the local scene continues to grow.

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. With a passion for the people and community of his hometown, a love of unique goods, and a desire to help small businesses, Chad is excited about Main Street Events and excited to connect with you.
